Hey everyone! I get asked so many times per day" How's the real estate market?" With so many people looking to buy and sellers considering putting their home on the market, I just wanted to share a few stats for those of you who are curious! When I tell those customers and clients the market it HOT- it truly is on fire, with the interest rates remaining low and home prices rising buyers are eager to get locked into a mortgage and sellers are taking advantage of getting top dollar for their properties. Many times lately that I've listed a home is has sold in record time, with many showings or even multiple offer situations. According to the National Association of Realtors exsisting home sales are estimated to increase by 3.9% and new construction at 10%. The housing inventory is down approx. 11% thoughtout the U.S. Our local market here in Central Kentucky is experiencing this shortage of homes also.
